De Carrièrecommissie richt zich op het toegankelijk maken van perspectieven op mogelijke banen na het afronden van een bachelor in geschiedenis. Door bijvoorbeeld een politieke excursie naar Brussel en een beroepenoriëntatiedag hoopt de commissie leden inspiratie te geven voor hun wensen op de arbeidsmarkt. Daarnaast heeft de commissie veel contact met de gemeente waarbinnen we onder andere betrokken zijn bij het Nijmeegs Geschiedenis Festival. Op deze manier is de commissie zowel lokaal als maatschappelijk betrokken bij geschiedenis in de samenleving.
The Career Committee focuses on making accessible prospects for possible jobs after completing a bachelor’s degree in history. For example, through a political excursion to Brussels and a job orientation day, the committee hopes to give members inspiration for their wishes on the job market. In addition, the committee is in frequent contact with the municipality within which, among other things, we are involved with the Nijmegen History Festival. In this way the committee is both locally and socially involved with history in society.
